Should you insulate under your new electric radiant floor heating system?
we recommend insulation when installing over concrete. Many customers like to install a "thermal break" to enhance performance of a new floor heating system. Heat moves toward cold, so warm surfaces (heating elements) transfer heat to cold ones (slab/tile).
